The exchange program, professional Au Pairs, is for qualified young women (and men) with a degree in the educational, custodial, or social field:
- Nurses, pediatric nurses
- Educators
- Kindergarten, preschool or nursery teacher
- Midwifes
- Elementary school teacher
- Social pedagogue
- Occupational Therapists with childcare experience
- Social education/family worker
- Or 2 years of experience in full time childcare
Dear interested future Au Pair
As a former Au Pair, I am able to give advice and experience first hand. I made it my personal goal to give young people with an education in the medical or childcare field the opportunity to work, as well as to have new experiences in the US. You can either see the time simply as work experience in another country, or as a very meaningful bridge, spent with an American family.
